OUR HISTORY

Incorporated by Ildefonso G. Tronqued in 1990, Tronqued Boats started out as a passionate hobby of building speed boats for family and friends. In 2006, his son, Marco, took interest in handling its operation. Starting with just three workers and a good piece of land outside of Metro Manila, Marco had grown the company to produce a host of larger customized boat models and had expanded its plant facility to include over seventy employees. Now having delivered boats all throughout the Philippine Archipelago, the company prides itself with having accumulated a vast amount of expertise in boat-building. Its vision of being the preferred manufacturer of top quality custom fiberglass boats in the Philppines and its neighboring countries is closely pursued.

THE TRONQUED DIFFERENCE

CUSTOMISED BOATS

We can do almost anything on our hulls.  We will work with you one-on-one by collaborating in designing a deck layout that specifically addresses your need. You will then decide which accessories you would like to include from the multitude we are capable of installing like a GPS (large or small), radar, marine refrigerator, marine air-conditioner, marine sound system, marine fresh water system, marine toilet, built-in custom high capacity fuel tanks (for long range), solar panels, underwater lights, outriggers, downriggers, custom stainless LED boat names, custom boat striping, the list goes on and on.

END-TO-END SOLUTIONS & AFTER SALES SUPPORT

Our approach is very holistic with in-depth partner collaboration which starts from your boat's inception and need assessment, to its production, to the final turnover, delivery and full after sales support. Our goal is for you to have a boat which operates exactly as intended with the assurance that we would always be here to support you in every way possible. Meanwhile, we have a separate well established after sales arm that caters to your boat's parts and accessories as well as on-site repairs if required. We take this very seriously and uphold our warranty accordingly.

TRAINING AND DELIVERY

We have experience in having delivered to ALL regions of the Philippines. By this, we can assist in either arranging the shipment of your boat (conduction to the ports for lashing, weighing, stevedoring) or in providing the actual service of delivering it to your doorstep. We facilitate the issuance of a  Marine Cargo Insurance Policy and on-site training. Inclusive to every boat we build are both sea trials and crew training (your choice of team sent to us) which are to be conducted in Manila Bay, where each boat is first launched.

MARINA DOCUMENTATION

Our company is licensed by the Maritime Industry Authority as a CLASS - A - BOAT BUILDER. Every boat we build strictly complies with all MARINA requirements. This involves obtaining Vessel Plans Approval, Authority to Construct, 1st and 2nd Inspections, Construction Certificate, Tonnage Certificate and the Certificate of Philippine Registry (CoPR). All documentation are completed above board so that your boat is well documented allowing you to operate it fully confident of its safety.  As an added service, we can assist you with insuring your boat.

DOCKING AND STORAGE

Our plant has a large covered facility that is fully insured in the event that you would require storage. Through our membership with certain entities such as the Punta Fuego Yacht Club,
we can assist in having your boat docked at said site by being our sponsored guest.

   ISO 9001: 2015
   CERTIFICATION
  & A BIAP MEMBER

We are currently  the FIRST and ONLY QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS ISO 9001:2015 CERTIFIED boat-building company in the Philippines. This exemplifies further our commitment to consistently produce high quality boats. We are also a member of the Boating Industries Association of the Philippines (BIAP), a 40-year-old organization which is recognized by MARINA. Its aim is the promotion of the boating industry and safety of life at sea.

WHAT CLIENTS SAY

“The quality is great. Our boat operates well and we are well into ordering another unit.”

Max Kuijkhoven - GM Ambassador in Paradise Boracay - 40 Interceptor Passenger

(Photo taken during the boat and its boathouse’s blessing) “I am very happy with my boat. It is more than what I expected it would be.”

Kurt Dworschack - Negros Occidental - 28 Seafarer

"I love the boat. It is perfect for fishing and going around Mindoro. My son and I actually build boats as well. We own North Pacific Yachts which manufactures yachts 50 feet and above based in China."

John Brice - CEO Quality Craft Ltd. (British Columbia) - Puerto Galera- 28 Seafarer

"In early 2010, I became the proud owner of this mercurial creature produced by a young entrepreneur named Marco (wearing hat on the video) whose father Boy Tronqued has been a friend of mine -- I wanted to be among the firsts to boost Marco's business inclination. I never regretted acquiring her. Among the four water vessels, this one is the most used and abused, but by whom, with the ocean, I have never been more amused. She's my jettaxi from Manila to Bella to Fortune to Lubang to Galera to Coron to Bora and back. She never fails, never complains, never leaves me behind." - Taken from his Facebook Account

Mel Velarde - CEO Now Corp. (A Publicly-Listed Company) - Punta Fuego - 28 Seafarer

(Taken from an email sent to us in May of 2018) Hi, Grumbles is Nine. (Grumbles is the name of the boat) I have attached a collection of photos which tells of the fun, experiences and friends made during this time. Please ensure that Boy and Wilson see how much I have enjoyed the boat and how much I appreciate the ongoing friendship. Kind regards and best wishes, John Cavanagh.

John Cavanagh - From Gold Coast Australia - His Boat : A 28 Seafarer exported to Australia

"The boat is perfect. It is hell-a-fun!!" (Note the photo shows Bogdan with his first catch on the boat - a Blue Marlin from the waters of Siargao)

Bogdan Thomaszewski - Siargao Island - 28 Seafarer

"I am very pleased with my boat (Interceptor 400RS Cabin). I had personally ran it with Marco from Manila to Leyte. It was a great adventure and memorable trip. Now it is docked at my house near the San Juanico Bridge where I have a ramp and hoist to get it out of the water. "

Wolff Heinrichsdorff - CEO of Montblanc - Tacloban, Leyte - 40 Interceptor Cabin
