About Us

"Good taste can neither be learned nor taught. We put a lot of passion in what we do and take pride in the boats we build so much so that we are confident enough to put our name on them." - Marco Tronqued

CRAFTSMANSHIP

We employ a skillful team of more than 50 people which produce a limited number of uniquely built custom boats each year. We build boats that last a lifetime. Quality is proven by our absolute ZERO wood construction and our use of high grade marine quality materials, an example of which is the use of advanced structural core from Europe. Although it is more labor intensive, we utilize hand lamination techniques instead of sprayed chopped strand found in mass produced boats. Our experience is built through years of building and using our boats and this is what drives us to further improve our design and quality.

PLANT FACILITY

Our plant facility boasts of one of the largest speed boat manufacturing yards in the country. It sits on a 3 hectare company owned property. Once inside, a total covered area of 5,000 square meters is divided in segments for gelkoting, frp production, steel fabrication, general upholstery, raw materials and equipment storage. While a separate 3-storey building is currently under construction which would soon house our new administrative offices, a marine hardware & accessories storage space and a large client entertainment area. We now have the overall capacity to build more than 15 boats (28 feet and up) all at the same time.
For an ocular visit of our facility, may we request that you contact us through our telephone numbers or thru our email address. We can also arrange for land transportation as well as a chartered hellicopter ride to our plant.

OUR HISTORY

Incorporated by Ildefonso G. Tronqued in 1990, Tronqued Boats started out as a passionate hobby of building speed boats for family and friends. In 2006, his son, Marco, took interest in handling its operation. Starting with just three workers and a good piece of land outside of Metro Manila, Marco had grown the company to produce a host of larger customized boat models and had expanded its plant facility to include over fifty employees. Now having delivered boats all throughout the Philippine Archipelago, the company prides itself with having accumulated a vast amount of expertise in boat-building. Its vision of being the preferred manufacturer of top quality custom fiberglass boats in the Philppines and its neighboring countries is closely pursued.
